Red Faction: Battlegrounds coming this April, PSN Plus gets it free

Sony’s marked Red Faction: Battlegrounds for a April 5 release date via a PSN email sent out to PS Plus subscribers.

RF: Battlegrounds is going to be a downloadable mini game which will mainly comprise of vehicle-based shooter action. It is expected to act as a prequel for the next release in the series, Red Faction: Armageddon.

Battlegrounds will be avaiable for download on April 5 for US users and EU PSN users will be able to hop in, in the same week. It will be priced at $9.99 and 800MSP on XBL.

Also, as promised by Sony, to give some free games to PSN Plus members, this is going to be one of them. So, Plus members will be able to download it without any charge.

Red Faction: Armageddon is yet to get dated.
