Relic to announce their next RTS in August

Danny Bilson, head of THQ Core Games has confirmed that Relic’s latest RTS project will be announced in August. In a recent tweet, he said:

“The big announce for the next Relic RTS should come in August…that’s the plan.”

Relic has released two Dawn of War titles after being bought by THQ nearly seven years ago. Both games have received four expansions combined so far, with a fifth for DoW II, Retribution, arriving on March 4. Relic is also known for their stellar work with Company of Heroes and Company of Heroes Online, the latter of which will never see the light of day in the west.

With THQ going on tweetmania with tweets like: the company would have a “huge announcement” planned for next month. We hope Relic’s new RTS would be as groundbreaking as their previous titles.
