Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City gets dated

Capcom has finally unveiled the release date for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City in North America.

The game will launch in the United States on March 20th, 2012. Additionally, gamers who pre-order the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 version via Amazon, Best Buy or GameStop will gain access to an otherwise unavailable costume for each of the game’s six playable characters.

Not only that, however, as each retailer will feature two unique bonus weapons. How I wish they didn’t carry out such unnecessary exclusivity deals with publishers.
