Rumour : NGP releasing on November 11 in Europe

The NGP has only been confirmed for a 2011 release in Japan, while  a western release this year is highly unlikely according to Sony.

“It’s very difficult to have the quantities to be able to launch on a worldwide basis on the same date” and that “our goal is get at least one territory out by the end of holiday 2011″ said SCEA boss Jack Tretton.

However, MCV is reporting that the NGP might release in Europe on November 11, if online leaks were to be believed. Apparently, deadlines on development for games have now been set for before the end of the summer to ensure a release in autumn.

This is still a rumor and it’s best if we don’t get our hopes up too high as the launch of the PS3 was actually pushed back by a couple of months in Europe.
