Serious Sam 3: BFE landing this October for the PC

Mark your calendars, it’s about the FPS genre received a worthy Shoot ‘m’ ups. Publisher Developer Digital has pinned down an exact release date of October 18th for the PC version of Serious Sam 3: BFE .
The arcade style shooter is all set to be unleashed upon the masses with a 16-player co-op campaign (yeah, you read it right), and competitive multiplayer modes.
“We believe Serious Sam 3: BFE is the best Serious Sam game we’ve ever made,” said Davor Hunski, Chief Creative Guy at Croteam. “We’ve designed a true arcade-style FPS game with the non-stop brutal action the series is known for and our fans have loved for the past decade.”
To celebrate the announcement, Serious Sam 3 just went up on Steam for preorder and is also selling for a considerable 10% off. Here’s the scoop:
- A serious 10% discount off of Serious Sam 3: BFE preorder on Steam
- A super serious additional 10% discount off of Serious Sam 3: BFE for customers that already own a Serious Sam title on Steam.
- Timed exclusive Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker multiplayer avatar for use in Serious Sam 3: BFE.
That’s not all, Steam is also running a mid week deal for all those who have yet to get a taste of the series mindless and ridiculous fun factor. The Serious Sam HD Double Pack is up for grabs for a dirt cheap $10.19, and the Gold Edition, which comes with the original vanilla release, is available for $13.59 .
No details were revealed about the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.
