SOE servers to remain offline till Friday or longer

The PSN hackers mean business and simply refuse to stop. Just when we all thought that PSN would be up and running soon, the hackers strike again, this time targeting Sony Online Entertainment.
MSNBC is reporting that SOE is hiring security experts from Data Forte, Guidance Software, and Robert Half International to help repair the damage done by the breach.
Taina Rodriguez, a Sony Online Entertainment spokeswoman confirmed that SOE servers won’t be back online until Friday or longer.
She gave the statement to The San Diego Union-Tribune.
She also informed that although, both the PSN and SOE servers operate separately, some similarities are there:
“Our servers are different from the PSN servers,” she said. “We are operated separately. But since we’re both under the Sony umbrella, there is a degree of architecture that overlaps.”
As compensation, Sony will be offering thirty day subscription extensions for its MMO subscribers, and DC Universe Online players will also be getting a complimentary Batman-esque mask for their characters. When will the storm trully end?
