Sony: 60 million registered PSN users worldwide

Sony threw up some impressive figures at the CES 2011 keynote.

They announced that PSN network sign ups have exceeded the 60 million mark to date.

This sees an incredible rise since last year’s total of 38 million, which the giant had confirmed over at last year’s CES event.

Microsoft too revealed that its LIVE subscriptions had crossed the 30 million mark  at its own CES keynote.

60 million is an impressive number and we wonder how many of those are using their newly launched PS Plus service?
