Sony admits they asked for CCV codes from PSN users

Sony Senior Comm guy, Patrick Seybold has apologized for stating that the company didn’t ask for CCV codes from users while they purchased content from the Playstation Network.

Apparently, it was an error which he made since he has clarified that they did. However, he assured people that the company, although asked for the CCV codes, did not store them in their database, and it was transmitted directly into their payment processors for verification purposes.
