Sony at E3 2010: Aces High?

Debabrata: You know what, AGENT…you guys fail for forgetting that. It’s Rockstar, for god’s sake.

Aiman: Rockstar are not known for making appearances at E3.

Debabrata:  I am sure it will make an appearance

Aiman: Think back. They don’t have a track record of showing games at E3. No GTA ever at E3…or Red Dead for that matter.

Kartik: I believe Debabrata here has evidence that they will be here this E3.

Aiman: That would be out of character for Rockstar…but yeah if that’s the case…then I’ll be watching…closely

Kartik: Just a 5 second teaser with Agent image shown on the big screen…I think that should do. And speaking of teasers, Sony’s trump card – Uncharted 3. They could steal the thunder by announcing that it’s in development.

Aiman: About Uncharted 3, its inevitable, its coming…but not this year. I think we should wrap up things here by looking at hardware that Sony is providing.

Debabrata: PSP….?

Kartik: lol

Aiman: PSPGO sucks bigtime and PSPGO can GO AWAY!

Debabrata: I guess that more or less showcases our feelings about the PSP.

Aiman: About the 3d thing. I saw GT 5 in 3d, being showcased here…and it looks pretty darn cool. I’m not one to be sold on gimmicks, but what they were showing looks amazing. Maybe wont convert me, but it’s pretty tempting.

Kartik: Was it stereoscopic or just emulated? And how about the glasses?

Aiman: Well there was a TV and I did wear glasses. I’d like to believe it was stereoscopic. They were showcasing a GT 5 demo and FIFA match. I have to say, the football looked amazing. AMAAAAZING! I’ve heard FIFA World Cup 2010 will be aired in 3D…I’m on the lookout for some ‘friend’ who is rich enough to get a 3D TV right now. Because I’d have to sell a kidney to afford one at the prices they are going for presently.

Debabrata: Both your kidneys infact. Anyways, we’ve covered a lot of content in today’s discussion. Sony looks strong already and it will be interesting to see how they approach E3, with most of their big announcements already out of the bag. Join us again next time as we dissect Microsoft and Nintendo and see what they will bring to the table.
