Sony domain registration confirms PS Vita name

It looks like, whether you like it or not, the next handheld console by Sony, codenamed the NGP is indeed going to be named PS Vite or atleast Sony’s planning to announce something by that name at E3.

They’ve recently registered the domain name vita.scedev.net which suggests that they’re planning to name the NGP as PS Vita. For non-believers, if you visit ngp.scedev.net you will find the same page as that when you visit the Vita domain.

This highly points towards that fact that both of these names are for the same device, i.e the Sony’s next gen portable console.

Although, we’re yet to get any official word from Sony regarding the matter. We’ll however send them an email and in the meantime let us know your thoughts below.

All speculation will be put to rest in less than 10 day’s time, when E3 begins.
