Sony Holding Longest E3 Conference In History This Year

With just two weeks left for the gates of the show to open, Sony has sent our invites to their press conference, which makes a shocking revelation that the event will span for 5 hours.

That’s the longest duration of a press conference from any publisher to date. In contrast, Sony’s last year press event lasted only two hours. This year, a two hour press conference will be followed up immediately by a “special event”. At this point, your guess is just as good as ours. We’re expecting a full blown coming out party for the NGP. Regardless, let’s just hope it doesn’t end up like Microsoft’s Kinect preview at last year’s E3.

With Nintendo all set to unveil their next home console and with the 360 and PS3 at the height of its popularity, this year’s E3 is shaping up to be  the biggest since 2005. Stay tuned to gM for all the updates on the show.
