Star Wars The Old Republic beta will start in September

Bioware seem to be keeping a rather tight lid on footage of the actual gameplay of Star Wars The Old Republic, but they have set a date for when they will start inviting people to test the game in beta form.

The beta weekends will start in September, as Bioware are hoping that the game can be ready for the 2011 holiday season. 2/3 months isn’t a huge time for a MMORPG beta, and hopefully this won’t just be a glorified demo.
