Steam Trading Beta open for testing

Valve’s Steam Trading Beta program allows players to trade items they’ve purchased through Steam, such in-game items or gift games (games players have purchased but have not yet added to their library).

Steam user profiles will be updated to show off an inventory of items they are looking to trade for.

The beta is open to anyone looking to give it a shot. Just log into the Steam client, click on Settings, and follow the link to the Steam Trading Beta.

Once a player has opted into the beta, they may be invited through Group Chat or through a friend request to open a trade.

Currently only Team Fortress 2 items and gift games may be traded.
