Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition heading to consoles and PC this summer

The rumors and leaks turned out to be real after all. Capcom has announced that Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition will be arriving on consoles and the PC as well.
The update will include four new characters: Evil Ryu, Oni, Yun and Yang and also makes some changes to balance the existing roster. The online component of the core game will be improved as well, with improved replays and the inclusion of an Elite Channel.
Arcade edition will be released as DLC and also as a retail package which will include all the content of SSFIV. The DLC will be priced at $15 and will release on the 7th of June, while the retail copy will hit shelves on June 24th.The PC version will also release on the same date as a full retail version.
“After the release of Super Street Fighter IV last April, we got a lot of requests and comments from fans and users,” producer Yoshinori Ono said at Capcom’s Captivate 2011. “We’re going to do our best in Arcade Edition to answer all those requests and give people the features they want.”
