Tekken Hybrid announced for PS3
The bundle consists of the upcoming 3D film TEKKEN Blood Vengeance, Tekken Tag Tournament HD and other previously unannounced content and will be released this fall exclusively on Blu-Ray for PlayStation 3.
The movie TEKKEN Blood Vengeance 3D tells the story of high school student and experienced martial artist Xiaoyu Ling who is mandated by the G Corporation to infiltrate an international school in Kyoto to gather information about the mysterious student Shin Kamiya . Before Ling Xiaoyu can start the investigation, Shin is kidnapped by an unknown attacker, and in search for clues Xiaoyu quickly learns the terrifying dark side of the company.
Blood Vengeance is a completely computer-animated film, produced by Digital Frontier (Resident Evil: Degeneration, Death Note and Appleseed). The screenplay has been written by Dai Sato (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Cowboy Bebop) and the soundtrack has been composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Ogre Battle, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Tekken 6). The Director, Youchichi Mouri, is responsible for the opening movie of Tekken 5 and Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.
Tekken Tag Tournament HD, on the other hand, is a high-definition remake of the classic PlayStation 2 Tekken spin off, Tekken Tag Tournament.
