Tester: 3DS Screen has Limitations
The Nintendo 3DS got a grand reveal for the west last night. The event dropped both dates and prices for the console.
However, it looks like the console may have some issues with its 3D screen.
Atleast that’s what David Ewalt, writer for The Geek’s Beat claims. He has had the chance to test the handheld device and says that, “The 3DS wants you to keep a distance of about 30 inches from the card, and every time I pulled too far away, it would pause the game. That happened a lot.â€
He also feels that movement is limited while using the device, ““Limited movement is also an issue with the 3D screen overall. Tilt it to the left or right, or move it towards one side of your body or another, and the screen goes blurry. I can see where that would be tiring.â€
Another report takes this concerns a step higher by claiming that people suffered from fatigue and headaches after playing with the device.
This report, published in Japanese magazine Friday claims that a lot of people who have gamed on the 3DS at the Nintendo World Event had complained about fatigued eyes and headaches after a while.
Now, those are some serious concerns if true, however the magazine is known to publish “extraordinary” claims regarding stuff and one should take this with a pinch of salt.
We’ll check with Nintendo regarding the same and let us know what you think about it below?
