The Darkness 2 demo arriving on Xbox Live on Jan 17th, PSN and Steam a week later

Take-Two has sent word that a demo of the upcoming comic book adaptation will be hitting Xbox Live on January 17th. However, only Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be granted access to the demo early.

Silvers subscribers will have to wait along with PS3 and PC gamers till January 24th. The demo will be further delayed by a day for PAL PSN members.

The sequel to The Darkness aims to one up its predecessor in every single aspect, while also throwing in a separate 4 player co-op campaign which has garnered much attention. Fans of the comic book should definitely keep an eye out for The Darkness 2 when it arrives on shelves on February 7th in NA, and on the 10th in Europe.
