THQ to publish the XBox 360 version of The Witcher 2 in PAL territories

THQ has joined hands with CD Projekt RED to gain publishing rights for 360 version of The Witcher 2. The company will market and distribute the console version in Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.

Commenting on the occasion is Tim Walsh, VP of THQ Partners:

“We are excited to work with CD Projekt RED to bring this unique role-playing game to Xbox 360 gamers.”

The game will undergo drastic changes and enhancements to make it feel right at home on the 360.

The Witcher 2 was a masterpiece when it landed on the PC on May 24th, and was one of the few games which managed to grab a perfect rating from us. Xbox 360 owners certainly have something to look forward to.
