Torchlight II Delayed Into 2012, Runic Gives Update on Game’s Status

Runic Games has provided an update on Torchlight II’s recent delay.
The game received a delay yesterday from its initial late 2011 release into 2012. The company has now said:
So yes, as you maaaybe heard, we’re not launching in 2011. Boooooo! But wait! We’re bummed too, but we promises, preciousss, that it will be worth the wait. The game is looking positively skelly-crushing-scrumdiddlyumptious.
Runic then revealed that they’ve made their first ever podcast featuring Travis, Max, Marsh, Art Director Jason Beck, Lead Level Designer Patrick Blank and Producer Brock Jones which talks in detail about the status of the game and the delay:
To update everyone on what in damn the name of Sam Hill we’re doing, we made our first ever podcast on Monday! (All true podcasters groan inwardly, and I apologize in advance for our noobism.) Travis, Max, Marsh, Art Director Jason Beck, Lead Level Designer Patrick Blank and Producer Brock Jones crowded around our solitary microphone to candidly address the State of the Game.
You can listen to that podcast here. The developer said that it was a part of their fan event recently, which seemingly has several pieces of information which can be located here.
Runic ended with:
We loff you! Thank you for bearing with us! And if I had a Hallmark card, it’d say “thank you beary much.” (Googling that phrase, by the way, is the stuff Steven King’s IT was made of.)
Torchlight II is expected to release sometime in 2012.
