Total War: Shogun 2 demo landing on February 22

Sega has announced that they will be releasing a demo for their upcoming strategy title Total War: Shogun 2 on February 22nd on Steam.

The company also revealed that those who pre-order the game at Gamestop or Best Buy will receive exclusive pre order bonuses.

• Best Buy: The player will get a head start with 1,000 Koku, which is the currency in the game and can be used to purchase new buildings, train units and upgrade their towns.
• GameSpot: Pre-orders unlock the Historic Battle of Kawagoe in which the Hõjõ clan launched a successful night time counter-attack against the besieging Uesugi.

Demo contents weren’t revealed though but you can expect a few Historical Battles to be thrown in. Total War: Shogun 2 releases on March 15th worldwide.
