Vietnam Bans Online Gaming In The Country After 10 pm

According to Vietnam News Network, the country has asked internet service providers to block off all access to online gaming from 10pm to 8am daily starting March 3. The move is done to “mitigate the side effects of online games.”

The block is reportedly aimed to improve internet management “in a way that both meets the demand for information and ensures internet security while not affecting the lifestyle and customs of young people.”

“Provincial departments of information and communication will inspect on-line games activities nationwide and deal with organisations that violate regulations by cancelling their services,” said ministry deputy minister, Le Nam Thang.

Maybe Vietnam is forgetting the fact that gamers also have something called a “job” . Poor guys.
