Warhammer 40k: Kill Team detailed

Shortly after being leaked from overseas, THQ announced some details concerning their newest title Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team.

The game will be available through download only at the Xbox Live Arcade (800 Microsoft points) and PlayStation Network ($9.99) this July.

THQ describes it as a fast-paced third-person action shooter, much like Space Marine will be.

The game follows a team of Space Marines as they assault an Ork Kroozer on its way to an Imperial Forge World.

The game will feature two-player co-op play and four playable classes: Sternguard Veteran, Techmarine, Vanguard Veteran and Librarian. The game also features an exclusive unlockable for the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine title: the Power Sword. The Power Sword can be obtained by completing the first mission in Kill Team and will be available for use in Space Marine’s multiplayer mode.

Warhamer 40,000: Space Marine is scheduled for release this September.
