Warhammer 40K: Space Marine confirmed for PC

THQ has always been a PC friendly company. So it came as a suprise when Space Marine was announced only for the consoles in May. But fans didn’t lose hope and today, THQ and Relic confirmed that the game will be releasing for the PC in early 2011 alongside their console counter parts.

“The loyal PC audience is incredibly important to us here at Relic so we are delighted to be able to announce the PC version of the game.” said Jonathan Dowdeswell, General Manager of Relic Entertainment. Travis Plane, Vice President of Global Brand Management commented: “Delivering great content the fans want to play is the key goal in the core games division at THQ so we are pulling out all of the stops to make this the best possible game for PC and console audiences alike.”

The game will be leaving its RTS roots and will be a 3rd person action game. First Darksiders and now this. Thank you, THQ and Relic.
