Wii U May Feature Facial Recognition

At the rate Nintendo is going, the Wii U controller will be able to do every technological thing you could ever imagine.
The Wii U may be able to use the built-in camera for facial recognition. The latest information comes from Nintendo president, Satoru Iwato, who said “It certainly seems possible from an engineering standpoint that the camera will recognize you if you position the new controller to look at you”. This was revealed in the latest edition of Iwata Asks.
He used WiiFit and the balance board as an example for how this facial recognition would speed up the process of weighing yourself: “”It would be much more accessible if all you have to do is to hold it, press a button and stand on the Wii Balance Board.”
It remains to be seen if the developers over at Nintendo would agree.
